I often find that the hardest part of blogging is coming up with a title that encompasses everything. I'm not going to try tonight.
Today was the last Young Women's activity that I had to plan before my baby comes. I took the girls to the driving range at Tri City Golf Course. I also took my little family with me. My boys had a good time swinging the golf clubs and I had Nate give the girls a little golf tutorial before letting them swing the clubs. I don't know if any of you are golfers, but I have the hardest time swinging the club with the boobs getting in the way -- and I'm not even that well-endowed!!! I think that I need to take golf lessons from a girl. I think that the girls had fun -- they probably would have had more fun, though, if they could have shown off in front of some Young Men. Maybe next time.
On Saturday, I went out to dinner and had game night with some of my friends from our old neighborhood. We had a good time. I love keeping in touch with old friends. And I'm always up for a really good steak!
Poor Max went to the dentist yesterday to get a cavity filled. He's kind of been picked on with his ears and now his teeth. Maybe he can be done for a little bit now.
I went to the doctor today and had to wait for over an hour for my appointment -- just to hear that I'm still here and the baby is still in there. The doctor said that he would duct tape me so I don't have this baby before I want to. Now that's my kind of doctor -- someone who completely understands me, listens to me, and does exactly what I want.
Tomorrow I am giving my last two piano lessons. Yeah!!! Some of the students I am genuinely going to miss. Others, I'm just fine seeing them go. I do love teaching, though, so we'll have to see when I'm ready to start again. I just want all of the kids to keep playing. It's so easy to forget if you don't keep playing.
I hope that you received an invitation to a jewelry party at my house on Thursday. (Those of you who live in Utah.) You never know about the postal service, though. This jewelry company has some really neat stuff -- but I'd love you to come just so that I can see you. Feel free to bring anybody that you would like. Anybody is welcome to come. Thursday @ 7:00

I have the same issue with golfing and just figured that the pros must wear really tight bras or something.
So what is the deal with not wanting to have the baby before the 15th? I have been wanting to ask for a while...sorry to pry.
I can't golf at all, it's not pretty and the boobs definitely get in the way.
I can't imagine duct tape would be comfortable Jana, really you may want to consider being flexible with the date and letting the baby come when he's ready. Think of the pain of pulling the duct tape off?! Yowie.
I'm so happy that you're almost done with piano lessons. I love that you're being more realistic with your time and your life and that you're slowing down slightly. Good for you! (Technically you're not slowing down, you're just trading the busy for something else, but I'm still proud of you.)
Can I come to the jewlery party late? Whitney has soccer and I had to miss her game last week for book club. Is that alright?
Hannah -- My boys were born on the 30th, 25th, and 20th. So...to keep in harmony with my little pattern, this baby needs to be born on the 15th. I know I'm a little insane about it, but if it's possible that it can happen, why not?
Jill -- Of course you can come late. Whenever you would like.
I just plain SUCK at golf. Never thought about boobs being an issue, but seems like they could pose a problem. I just can't seem to hit the ball and end up hitting the grass instead! Really too bad because my husband and boys love it.
I probably would be more like you with the date thing.
Wish I could come to the jewerly party sounds fun. I don't think I will be making that 24 hour drive though HA!
I'm glad you love your doctor, that can make such a huge difference. How nice of him to be supportive of your idiosyncracies!
I'm thrilled that you are giving your last piano lessons. You can always start up again at some point in the future, if it works out. But for now, it seems like it will simplify your life somewhat, and that is always a very good thing!
Marc is having a stake audit tomorrow night, so I can't make it to the party. Hope you have fun.
It's been forever since I've been golfing. I last went with jason Bingham when I was in college. He was the last guy I dated before I met Jeremy! I had almost no boobs back then, and I don't remember them getting in the way at all!
I was planning on going to your jewelry party, but then I got a reminder call that the ward book club in on thursday night and it's at my house. Seriously, I have to write these things down!
I totally understand the date thing but duct tape?
I hope your jewelry party was fun. I was on the soccer field...
